What is the relationship between Loggerhead Club & Marina and Loggerhead Marinelife Center?
Loggerhead Club & Marina is committed to marine conservation. Therefore, Loggerhead Club & Marina agreed to make a near seven-figure contribution to the Loggerhead Marinelife Center for the construction of a new 13,000 square-foot campus in Juno Beach, Florida. The Loggerhead Marinelife Center is a marine hospital and rehabilitation center whose mission is to assist injured sea life, especially endangered sea turtles, and educate the public about conservation of our treasured waterways.
We encourage our members to visit and support the Loggerhead Marinelife Center. We will be adding a kiosk to each marina to provide helpful tips on the water. Membership information for Loggerhead Marinelife Center will also be available. Click the "Our Cause" button here on the Web site for more information, as well as a link to the Loggerhead Marinelife Center.
Is Loggerhead Club & Marina a “Clean Marina”?
We believe that marina owners and operators should serve our industry as good stewards of the aquatic marine environment. We have chosen to lead by example. We voluntarily initiated and implemented a set of environmental Best Management Practices (BMP) designed by the Florida Department of Environmental Protection to preserve Florida's waterways. These BMPs address critical environmental issues such as sensitive habitat, waste management, storm water control, spill prevention, and emergency preparedness. We are pleased to report that all 11 Loggerhead Club & Marina facilities have obtained the distinguished Clean Marina designation.

Are there any good fishing locations near you?
Fishing offshore of Ft. Lauderdale is good for deeper water species (sailfish, swordfish, wahoo, and dolphin), while the shallower waters in Miami and south are better for snook, grouper, snapper, and tarpon. Biscayne Bay is a unique fishing experience because of its expansive flats.

We offer mobile pump-out service with just a quick phone call to the marina office.
How far away is the beach?
The closest beach is Sunny Isles Beach, just 3 miles away heading south on Biscayne Blvd. to the William Lehmann Causeway, then south on Collins Ave. Just 2 miles to the south of Sunny Isles is Haulover Beach, which has a clothing optional section a 1/2 mile to the north.
Are there any beaches or islands nearby that we can drop anchor and swim?
The South Lake, less than 5 miles north of our Aventura location, averages 3 to 4 feet in depth and is a favorite of swimmers and tubers. Jet Skiers also occasionally use the lake so beware. The average depth in the center of Biscayne Bay is 3 feet and is home to Stiltsville, a collection of homes built on stilts in the middle of the bay.

Water-skiers frequent Maule Lake, just 2 miles south of us.
